Stacey Evans

I began working as a support worker in 2005, so for 15 years at the University of Worcester, I have worked on a one-to-one basis taking notes in lectures and supporting a wide range of students with disabilities. I enjoy the one to one nature of supporting students and find it a very fulfilling and rewarding job. I enjoy seeing their progression through their courses and the achievements and confidence they gain. I consider this as more than a job and feel privileged to have helped them in some way to achieve their goals.
I also work as an administrator within a disability services team. Within this role I ensure students are fully informed and signpost them to relevant services so that they are supported throughout their time at university. In my spare time, I am a keen photographer.
