I qualified in 2023 as a Person-Centred Counsellor after 6 years of study, overcoming both academic, mental health, and emotional challenges to achieve my goals. As a counsellor I help my clients to achieve desired changes by helping them to understand themselves by exploring their experiences and feelings.
I believe that understanding what makes us tick can help us to choose to respond to our experiences in a way that helps us to grow and reach our potential. As a student mentor, I will use this approach to tailor sessions by collaborating to identify and meet the needs of students academically, mentally and emotionally.
