Patricia Jones
I am a qualified teacher and have been employed as a Specialist Academic Support Tutor at the University of Worcester for six years, where I have supported students with specific learning difficulties or an autistic spectrum condition. Areas of support include essay planning, memory skills, organisation and time management, revision and examination techniques and strategies for proof-reading. I have a level 7 qualification to teach and assess students with a specific learning difficulty and have a mentoring qualification.
I am keen to enhance students’ confidence and motivation to help overcome barriers to learning so that students become independent learners.
