I am a qualified teacher and study skills support tutor, having worked in the field of education for twenty years in various settings including with several higher education providers. I am also a qualified assessor so have a good understanding of the complex issues faced by those with specific learning difficulties. Throughout my career I have always put the needs of the student first and advocated for equality for those who struggle with the demands of further and higher education. As a Specialist Study Skills Support Tutor, I can support you with many aspects of study for example, organisation and time management, reading academic texts, essay planning and writing, proof reading strategies, and memory skills and revision strategies. These are skills that will help you with successful completion of your higher education course and will help you further on your chosen career path.
