Eamonn Griffin
Hello! I’m Eamonn. I’ve worked for over twenty-five years in education, including lecturing for over a decade on courses for a range of UK universities across a spectrum of subject areas. My job is to support you in being a student (mentoring, in other words), and with the study skills specifics relevant to your course.
I’m a perpetual student myself, so I know what it’s like to be balancing studying with other commitments, personal circumstances, and the stuff that life can throw at us from time to time.
I’ll take my lead from you: I’ll focus on what you want from your support, what you need, and I won't mess with what’s working for you.
I’m pretty adaptable, and I’m a fast learner, so I’ll be able to keep up with you. But you’re the subject expert here: my job’s to make things as clear and straightforward as possible, both with your studying, and with navigating the rest of uni life (and with universities themselves as big and sometimes strange organisations)!
