Annette Bozso

Joining an ADHD Coaching course has qualified me to provide support for people who have been diagnosed with ADHD, ASD, or other neurodiverse conditions. Through this training I can teach skills in relation to neurodiversity such as time and energy management, organisational skills and emotional dysregulation.
When I work with students as a specialist mentor I see mentoring as a collaborative, problem-solving process. I have a solid understanding of literacy, numeracy and fundamental study skills. Sessions help mentees to understand how neurodiversity affects their daily life, develop social skills, identify triggers, build coping strategies, make long-term plans, explore strategies, move forward with goals and maintain motivation.
Based on my MA degree in Social Science I would be able to contribute in subjects such as sociology, psychology, criminology, social policy, social work and health and social care amongst other things. Based on my previous experiences I am able to support students in effective learning and note taking strategies, presentation skills, academic writing techniques, critical thinking and digital skills.
